Your videos are so much more sophisticated and more like a classical approach to art and design teaching. I hope more people find out about this channel.

Thanks! Painting and editing takes time so videos are i bit fewer and farther between but i hope they're higher value in the end :)

Interesting to see some Kimera colours in action, I absolutely love them (even tho they are fairly hard to handle). For blacklining I prefer either a dark basecoat/prime and leaving the rim parts unpainted, or I use oil wash. Really blacklining is too much time effort for me :D But your result is very nice - not how I would like to do it (I miss the red in the helmet and shield :D), but very good work nonetheless. I gonna leave a sub here and check what else may come around :)

WoW ! Result is very nice and i like so much that you give us all the colors, tones and mix. You are really a great teacher and i appreciate your work so i decided to join your patreon. Only strange things is that the renew is the last day of the month and not the first. Good continuation

Amazing paint job. I like how you explain it in the video. Is it possible for you to make a Nurgle Video Age of Sigmar wir Cooper nmm?😅

I have a two stupid questions for you, as I have picked up some Daler Rowney oil paint and have had that fairly decent results so far, not amazing, but ok, should I switch to Winsor and Newton? And should I pick up some neon oil paint? For for my Necromunda/ cyberpunk models, or can I achieve a similar effect with practice... Aside from that, I have been really enjoying your videos, just trying to catch up on them now.

Glad you like the videos. If you're liking the content i hope you'll consider signing up for the patreon. Regarding the paints, i wouldnt buy the neon oil paint necessarily. I don't have experience with them, but i would rather save the money and invest in higher quailty basics. In my oil painting video, i go into the three paint I'd buy if i started from scratch. Indian yellow Williamsburg, napthol red gamblin and ultramarine blue (schmincke, gamblin or Williamsburg). Winsor and newton are ok, but not on par with the other brands i mentioned.

@@Watchpaintdry_minis Thanks for the help, I was wondering why I couldn't quite get the effect I wanted. I will donate the paints I have to a relative or something. I might just become a member of your Patron.

Watercolour for blacklining! That is interesting, does it allow for easier cleanup? Do you have to varnish afterwards?
@Watchpaintdry_minis11 ай бұрын
I do it because watercolor flows off the brush easily, and its easy to remove from areas where i dont want it. Thanks for watching!
