How to Paint Madril, Captain of Ithilien

In this video I'll be painting up Madril, Captain of Ilithien, one of Faramir's chums from the Battle for Osgiliath box. It's an absolutely lovely model, really detailed and dynamic, and is a fitting miniature for the captain pre-spear (curse you Gothmog!). Really enjoyed painting this one, a genuinely nice miniature.

The styling of this figure is spot on: richly detailed but a very muted colour range. Perfect for a ranger who needs to avoid detection but depends on his equipment being hard-wearing. The small gold fixtures speak to his rank. This is the kind of styling I want for my rangers and my dwarves.
