Wow.. this is incredible. I've been struggling with metal (armor and the like) for a while, going to grind out some studies with all these tips in mind. I really wish there were more technical art tutorials like this around, so many just feel like "draw it gud, dummy"

How do you adjust the color? I mean what happens when the light and shade of an object is painted, what happens when the cold light hits a warm object, and what happens when the light hits an object with different saturation. If you can, I hope to record a video and say thank you in detail

How did you stay in the lines so easily when you colored the cylinders? Was it some kind of masking?

Wow.... this is awesome. Thank you!!! Do you have online classes?
@ArtbyGalen5 жыл бұрын
I don't currently have any full classes published, but I am working on them. They just take a long time to make. On this channel, I'm currently doing a series on making your own comic books. Aside from this channel, I have a podcast called Art Tangents and I have my patreon. Thanks so much for your comment! Glad you liked the video.

Can you show us some tips on paper plz
@ArtbyGalen6 жыл бұрын
Srdjan Krstanovic it's essentially the same principles when drawing on paper. I might do some traditional tutorials on the future, though.

hey how can I do that 7:09 it's a perfect line
@ArtbyGalen4 жыл бұрын
in photoshop, if you hold shift while drawing a line horizontally or vertically it will make it a "perfect" line. Same works for erasers & many other tools in photoshop!

Is gold glossy or reflective?
@ArtbyGalen5 жыл бұрын
It depends on how polished the metal is. Could be both. Could also be dull.

Give me back my 15 minutes. Okay the tutorial was good, but why not finish it and make it all smooth. I wanna learn the whole thing!
