The reason why I went with the larger claws was to make him stand out as a praetor. He should stand out and it goes with the theme. Plus the mk. Of Terminator armor is based on the Contekar Terminators. As a praetor he is also deserving of some war trophies and I like to imagine he took it from a dark Angels.

😢 well…your not going to put any other color on it during the base coat phase. That would look ridiculous! The other half of the video goes into explanation. You have to trust the process! 😉

you need to thin your paints and use some better brushes

Yes and no on the paints. I do thin them done depending consistently of the paint but the video doesn’t always show the paint consistently well. For example ushabti bone needs to be thinned down with extra coats or it will look to thick. While khorne red the paint consistency goes on well without thinning it down. I have used expensive and cheap brushes and at the end of the day there’s not a lot of differences. What’s most important is you have a few brushes that are nice and pointy for fine detail. Some of my longest lasting brushes are my cheaper purchases I’ve made.
