Do you not prime the model before base painting it? Just curious if that changes the outcome at all

@@comissarpanzer1806 one does simply paint a mini without priming it first. It will likely chip if you dont. I used mechanicus Standard Grey rattle can. It's a good undercoat for a wide range of colors

Good thing i prefer Iron Hands. All you need is literally two colors and they're pretty easy to paint too. (I'm a beginner and also capable of messing up even the easiest of color schemes 😔)

@nukakitten Yes, ultramarine blue from Vallejo is just amazing for classic ultramarines. It is also in airbrush form and flows amazingly, even with a brush.
