My red cushions are faded but I can't find replacement cushions as thick. So painting is worth a shot - plus I was tired of red anyway! (planned to get a different color when I got new) Glad to come across your video - that's a pretty shade of yellow.

Hi - so glad to see this! My patio chairs have Sunbrella fabric cushions and I need a color upgrade - tired of looking at the same tan color for the last 10 years. But, I must say this fabric has endured the test of time. Anyway, although the offer may have expired, I can't wait to redecorate my patio with a pop of color!

I am going to be doing this to bench cushion. I have all in one red color and faded cushion is red. Two questions did you mist cushion with water at all, before or during? Also I was concerned about paint getting clothes when sitting. Do you need to allow to cure for certain time in certain temp? Thanks for your response.

Why not use a paint roller? Not sure I understand. And if you don't like the finish, you can brush the second coat... as she said, it'll need another one.
