Yes, it was the pandemic which caused my daughter to lose her business, and that gave us the opportunity to do something completely different together, which we had always hoped to do, using the language of art to communicate widely with the world. KZbin has proved itself to be the ideal medium for us, and we have met so many lovely people like yourself, it has been a blessing in disguise. My 172 th. Such humble yet beautiful flowers pansies are. The perfect flower to use the wet in wet or a variation of that technique. Nice composition. I took for an half hour the time mashine towards another season. Liked it thanks😊wim

Diane, you have already dealt with pansies several times. You make them look so delicate, colourful and friendly that I don't think they're so bad anymore and my negative association is improving. It's nice to get some distance. I have you to thank for that 😊 Hello, Mrs Dürer 😘 another beautiful picture! I find the contours with the pigment liner very successful. It looks really great, even in some of your previous pictures. When the little bee at the very top of the picture didn't have any legs yet, I thought you had painted the golden snitch on the picture 😁🤣

Hi Sylvia, yes, I know, they are such a popular flower and one of the few that grow easily all year in our garden! We even have them flowering in December, how could I not celebrate them?? I'm glad that you are losing your negativity towards them, their poor little faces are sad you know, that you find them hard to love! I'm glad you're enjoying the line and wash technique. It is surprisingly liberating. If you only knew how strange it is that you are comparing me to Durer!

@@DianeAntoneStudio Well, Dürer probably didn't paint any pansies, but very often himself. Once he even painted himself frontally, and he looks like Jesus. That is a little megalomaniac. On the other hand, he was a genius. But I like YOUR rabbit better than Dürer's. I'm also sure that you could do da Vinci's and Dürer's anatomical drawings exactly the same way! Besides, you're copying Monet 😁👍 In 15 minutes!! If THAT'S not genius, I don't know what is....

Hi Diane! Such a pretty painting, it would make a lovely card. I like how the chives rise up on one side to then meet up with the bees and butterflies. I bought and planted some pink violas last month with the intention of painting them. That still hasn't happened, nor have I painted a bumblebee yet - and that's how I found your channel, by searching #watercolorbee! I haven't been too crafty lately, but I have to hop to it because I signed up for a local winter craft fair. Sounds like your kitty just wanted to be near you😺. Eventually I will catch up on all your videos 😄.
