Fantastic. I hope you have additional videos with regards to airbrushing hair. Hair is my Achilles heel when trying to sketch, paint and with combing which is difficult since I am bald. Love your site and insight and you are truly fantastic in art. If I could just master hair. I will look at all of your videos for airbrushing hair and if not I sure would like to see more on this subject. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.

I have multiple videos dealing with hair and fur. In different techniques Particularly eye of the tiger is a very realistic subtractive technique. The last pet portrait I did was additive techniques of fur. Fur is generally more complex than most hair. Due to multiple color variations within the same area “brindle might be brown white black and grey all over. With touches of red.

Hi Bill, Nice work teaching how to detail hair. I think of all the videos I have seen, you are the only one that has used the fiberglass eraser pen AND Xacto knife for hair. Thanks for reminding me that the fiberglass pen eraser can be used for more than electronics, rust removal, and cleaning small areas most people use them for.

Im all about using all sorts of tools when possible. While I can and often do it all using an airbrush, theres always cool techniques to try. Been tied up with my grandbaby and the hospitals for a bit, ill get some stuff out again soon im certain.

@@TheAIRspace After hearing the words Grand baby and Chemo together, I don't even have to tell you...Forget Airbrushing and everything else, Until the little one is at a safe point, then relax, rest and rebuild your strength, These things drain everyone involved of everything, even mentally. There is not group or person on you tube that needs you more than your family right now, not even Tims Live Stream. I'll say a prayer for baby and you guys and IF you want, I'll let Tim and the stream what is up / why you haven't been there for a while, if you don't make it by Wednesday night. Take care and tell the family, your friends are praying for all you guys.

Be real hard to approach curly hair with a lot of daggers ✌️ Although I have done a lot of hair paint over paint. If I was doing this image without talking I might have done a little better job.. also it’s way easier to erase or scratch flat than vertical... which I would have done but my studio is in disarray since I’m trying half heartedly to move it.

That is terraslate synthetic. It has much more tooth than say yupo. Its a very cool paper. I actually plan on a small video highlighting the differences.
