Thank you! Isn't it cool how many values you can create with just a rag? I was impressed by how much the art changed once I added the darkest paint. It took the painting to a whole new level. I wasn't sure how much I like it until that point. 😜

Yes, you should! Small tips can make a big difference. You're lucky that you've tried it. A lot of people, especially when they are young, don't get a chance to work with oil paint.

That technique is awesome. I remember doing something just like it with watercolors

Yup. Lifting is very much like wipe out except that the watercolors won't stay wet as long. You should give oils a try!
