Usually when I watch online painting videos the model looks great throughout but when I paint in the middle of the process It looks shit I lose hope and give up, it's nice to see a video where the model looks awful midway through and then with few simple steps looks immaculate in the end. Gives me hope for my crappy dudes

I find the artistic process to be like that. With mini painting it's usually after the wash I think it looks terrible, then I add the highlights and I'm happier with it. Don't give up!
