I like using gesso paint primer for my canvases. It helps with not getting those white specks on your painting.

Good info Faith! In my newer videos I am using Liquitex clear gesso on wood would panels, then painting. I still get some shrinking of the paint as it dries. Painting a color ground first does hide some of that. THANKS for stopping by my channel! 🎨🤗I will keep experimenting.

LOVED this Annie!!! You sent me the link a little while ago, and I came right here and watched the whole thing! I LOVE the idea of the 'two color' palette and will definitely try. I consider myself a beginner, but I did up a zebra...and I was pleasantly SHOCKED at how it turned out! I use 'RapidResizer' to do traceables and love the idea! I am NOT a 'drawer' (?Hahahah!), but I love to paint! THIS is now on my 'to do' list. Oh, lord!!!!

I can’t stop thinking about the two color palette! But, of COURSE, I don’t have Prussian blue in my hoarde of paints! Back to the store tomorrow!!!!

@@coffeewithlinda Just use a dark blue that you have, maybe add a little black to it. Unless, it is just fun to buy new paint ❤️ I have adobe acrobat for opening my PDF traceables. You can use any program that opens the PDF and print at the size I set the traceable up as OR print larger/smaller (example 50%, 200% and tile as a poster). Is it possible to un-time lapse a KZbin video?

Yes, sort of. So You may have to look around a bit. In most browswers, on the video you are watching, at the bottom area when you mouse over it and the Pause symbol, Volume symbol etc. pops up. There is a 'settings' symbol. Looks like a gear. Click on it, and you can speed up or slow down the video. It will still be "choppy" and the music will sound funny. Hope this helps a bit. I do the time lapse so that I am not uploading 15 hours of painting time. (Which I don't think KZbin will allow). 💕

Hey Brenda! Thank you for stopping by my channel. 👋😍It sounds like you may like my Live Streams better - the painting is in real time. I have worked on a cow and most recently a Highland cow. We started live streaming 2 1/2 years ago? This video is 4 years old 👍 If you want to have my palette in frame the whole time, then you may like my smaller painting videos. I do some wet on wet blending. Since acrylics dry fast, I really like layering the color and just shifting the value a bit. = = Just like with anything, I am getting a bit better at KZbin as time goes by. Hope this helps a smidge, Art Hugs!

One more comment that might help. This painting took me around 18 hours to paint.
