How to Paint Water Easily 🎨 Tips for On-Location Urban Sketching

Hi everyone, today I'm sharing with you my afternoon enjoying the summer sunshine at Yaletown Vancouver. I sketched my lunch, then the quayside cityscape with water, boats, foliage forms, and buildings in the distance. Please watch the video until the end to see how I construct this Vancouver cityscape from a blank sheet of paper.
🎨 Materials I used:
- Winsor Newton 0.8mm fine liner pen
- Etchr watercolors (24 half pans)
- Speedball Handbook watercolor sketchbook
- Holbein Water Brush (large tip)
- Deserres water brush (Small tip)
