No lol. You have to raise a Tesla ONLY from Jack points.

Jack stands go on front control arms and rear jack points if you all you have is a floor jack and regular jack stands. Make sure you have the puck for rear jack points.

So, I don't get it. Why not dismount the brake calipers(without brake line removal), pads, etc and then paint? Seems like dismounting would easily allow access to everything for an easy and more thorough paint job.

Some people really hate unscrewing things. It is a lot of work to remove the calipers. That's how I do it, but some people even paint their wheels without removing them from the car.

Decals held up for years for me without any clearcoat. They just don't get that much abuse in that location.

It adds that extra bossy sexiness to your tesla for a small fraction of what tesla and car shops charge. Just Fyi dedicate a whole Saturday to do it if you only have one low profile jack lift like I do. I wish I had the gear the video has but all in all looks amazing

The only “RIGHT WAY” to paint calipers is to take them off and paint or powder coat them

this is the equivalent of putting a fake M badge on a BMW or a fake AMG badge on a Mercedes. this is definitely NOT the right way to paint brakes either lol.
