To help avoid paint seeping through under masking tape, do another layer of your base color first and then do the color you want (so do a layer of red on the tape boundry, then do your blue). The red will seep under and seal the tape, and then you'll be left with a nice crisp line for the blue.

Hey for painting, what putty and what stand are you using? That looks really nice to work with. And do you superglue the models together once done, given that its painted over? I'm putting together my armies now and want to paint the shields separately as well.

Hi! www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B09DCN3Y38?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title That’s a link to the handle I use - no affiliate. I just like the handle. As for putty any putty made for poster will do. And yes. You will either have to use super glue, use masking tape to keep joints paint free, or just carefully scrape the paint off. I personally use super glue but all methods will work.
