Fantastic job on that pancake. I’m with you on that tape problem. Layout was much easier when you didn’t have to deal with a decimal. Leave the tape width alone!

I've narrowed crossmembers before and put them in older vehicles. I'd go C10 not C20. They are different. C10 has more options.

Hey guys, It looks like the steering rod will touch the harmonic balancer on the SB??, also looks like the pancaked cross member doesn't have room for the oil pan?? comments??, suggestions? THANKS

There is plenty of room between the pan and the crossmember. There is also no problem with the harmonic ballancer. I'll try to get better pics

Butchery just buy drop spindles an do it right.

You can't lay the frame on the ground if you just do spindles! Study a little more and you'll figure it out.
