How to parge a block foundation

In this video I teach you how to waterproof a foundation. I use a parge mix, called comproco. You just add water and mix it to a pretty wet consistency. Then I show you what I do to put it on my trowel and put it on the wall. I talk about what I like to do to make it smooth and look good. Thanks for watching!!

all due respect but parging is NOT waterproofing, parging will crack n then allow water in basement + efflorescence and when parging is applied thin, that doesn't help much n won't last all that long, the backfilling process against these walls is also important.

Parging is putting that coat of comproco on the outside of the foundation

Your wrong. Use bonding agent and water mix on the block. And FFS you do a scratch coat first then a finish coat. Your going to be able to see every seem of the block, and that thin ass coat is going to crack.
