Bro I just passed my CDL permit, and got set up for driver training orientation. I just took my drug test. I'm sure I'm going to pass it. However there is anxiety with that test. The journey this far has been nerve racking for sure...it's not easy. I don't think it's easy for most. The mindset change and the physical journey to get in position is life changing for sure! @@twill_notbestopped they test for that too, I’m pretty sure it’s federal but I know for sure that in WV where I’m from after any accident or at any random screen you have to have a 0.0 BAC, zero tolerance for any in your system. The problem right now is the method of testing, I believe once they find a way to measurably tell if your high at the moment vs. if you’ve been high some time in the past when not driving. Once they get there, I believe at least medicinal will be allowed by law like any prescription medication, maybe even one day recreational. I don’t smoke myself, gives me panic attacks and don’t drink because my system can’t take it. But I do empathize with those who do

You can always leave the weed for a bit, get yourself clean, get that CDL work till u are comfortable, 1 or 2 things can happen you can see your progress and will motivate yourself to do better, or u can smoke after you got your CDL and quit for another 1 or 2 month but that pattern will get old, if you are here watching this is cause you want to do better and seeking clarity, no one wants to be a bum and everyone here knows life is hard sometimes. But everyone here knows whats really important at the end of the day. If you think you can’t quit, maybe trucking is not it. Rather be safe then sorry cause if you pop while behind wheel and someone is hurt or killed you are fucked forever just for a 3 hour high

You know bro, you talking about your plans, I have those plans too. Been trucking for nearly 6 years and we don't just drive, we have to merchandise the product. Which is cool with me, I don't mind the work, I quit smoking to get this job. Recently, like a year ago, i was diagnosed with crohns, and they cut a part of my stomach out and put a colostomy bag on me. While I was out I started smoking again, and I honestly forgot what MJ does for me. Alot of ppl think I smoke and get all dopey, but fr bro it helps me stay motivated, and helps me be a better person. I got my bag removed a few weeks ago, and im going back to work in a few weeks and I quit already. I just keep thinking about the beautiful house that I'm going to have one day. Plus I'm a metamorph, and get 3 weeks of vacation, so im going to enjoy smoking like three days a year.

I usually smoke every day in periods. Like ill smoke 1 time per day in 3-5 days then take 2-4 weeks break. My weight is 65Kg (around 150 pounds), 176 cm in height (5`9 ft). My advice is if you are in Or going in cdl just prepare yourself mentally to quit smoking. If you fail you're out of luck 3 years with the major company's. But if you do fail you can always go to the smaller companies that don't check dac. But even still you have to stay clean if you can ... just do something else where you can smoke that's not cdl because failing a normal drug test outside of cdl will not show on dac.

I smoke weed loud and proud, but I'm a talented driver. Failed a dot test for a seasonal position for the summer this week. Marijuana should not be an illegal substance it has many health benefits, but the bewsing is ok drink up all you want its not hard to pass an alcohol test. I find that very interesting. If I didn't know any better smells to me like the system wants to keep us down and unhealthy (alcohol is bad for your liver and kidneys). I bet anyone who's reading this has a relative who's health is doing bad do to alcohol or poor but legal choices. Well I'm not going to stand for this any longer even if it kills me I am going to take a stand for all Marijuana users who's lives and talents are being wasted. I heard a sermon online. I am going to stand up against these ass holes who seek to in slave us! I'm going to stand up like Malcom X like MLK, like Jesus Christ! I am going to lay my life down and sacrifice myself like those who did before us so that we could have a better quality of life! No public intoxication or operating a vehicle wile under the influence. I believe more people will agree with this. Good for you man. I think it shoud be legal, but it's not. Trucking is an opportunity for broke asses. Even if you don't do it forever, you can use the income as leverage to start a business like a used car lot or all kinds of things. I had a friend that bitched about being broke more than anyone I've ever known. He got lucky and got a good local job with just a few months OTR experience. He failed his 1st random, six months into the job. I don't associate with him anymore. I can understand that, but the minute you are back in the truck Monday and anything happens (like an accident) you get tested. You may not be under the influence (at said point and time) but you will still be a liability. In that situation, you are less likely to retain a CDL or a career in the industry.

This is a kinda weird situation because if you came out of pocket and can't pass the drug test the school can put that in the clearing house database (I know some schools will let you slide on the first test but it's up to them).Then you could potentially lose the money you paid for school and yea it wouldn't be the best situation. You kinda starting off on the wrong foot only because you probably should have waited a lil bit to start the school and have them give a drug test. But in saying that it's not the end of the world but if you fail the test then you have to go through a program called sap and it would be hard to find a good job with that on your record and no driving experience. I don't know when you made this video but you couldn't be more right. you do have to make a choice because it becomes your livelihood and everything in it is at stake. I don't care for the control over my life one bit... But that isn't important. Fact of the matter is, it's the rules and they'll make you pay for it if you disregard them. Doesn't matter how bad you want it to be different, its not. And there's not even any spot to go into the fact that if you were in an accident, people were hurt, you see where I'm going... That's quite possibly prison time and shit. The best idea if you want to be a truck driver, put in your mindset that you are going to get behind the wheel and you are going to drive far away from the life that you used to live because it will change radically! Arguing was solved by learning to be better at communicating. Definitely other ways to make money but this is the one I chose and I enjoy it more than spending time and money on something that I no longer find necessary. I am grateful for all the help no matter who it's from but when he gets in trouble I can't help him but I can help those before they get in the industry.
