In this video, we follow a Noi just two weeks before his road test. After 5 driving lesson he requested a mock test, hoping to build confidence and refine his skills. Direct, through explanation as well as immediate captions during the drive test to mark errors and to mark what was done right (“Good Observations”, “Fails to signal”, etc). I thought you're supposed to stop, and turn when there's no car or pedestrian even if red light is on (and not sign that prohibits it)? Confused learner here. Please confirm> 🙏

Contrary to popular belief, right on red is optional. you have the choice to wait for a green light. Some examiners may get annoyed by you simply waiting, so its better to just turn when its safe

You can turn right on red in Ontario only if it's safe and after a complete stop. However, the exception is when signage or a red right-turn arrow specifically prohibits it.

Hi im gonna take my road test this november 13. i jjst want to ask if at the stop sign if there is no stop line should i just stop at the end of the curb right? is it okay too if i just stop behind stop sign even there is no stop line? or i should stop at the end of curb? this my only problem, my grandfather tell me to stop behind stop sign even no line

Hi! Great question! If there’s no stop line, you should stop just before the edge of the curb where you have a clear view of oncoming traffic-not directly behind the stop sign. Stopping too far back can obstruct your view, so it’s best to stop at the curb edge, check for any vehicles or pedestrians, and then proceed when it’s safe. Good luck on your test on November 13-you’re going to do great!
