I PASSED mine at 1st attempt ***************************************QUICK TIPS:******************************************* 1- To overcome nervousness, just assume you're sitting with your friend & he's guiding you. 2- MUST check on your shoulders (blind spots) before moving. 3- Keeping checking Mirrors after a while & must check before giving corresponding turn indicator. 4- At roundabouts, don't rush, take your time and wait for the chance to move. If you keep your nervousness in control, it will be a usual driving lesson. Keep a good gesture on your face as well.

In Estonia when i was doing my driving exam, i actually almost never did any looking over the shoulder at all. Just looked in the mirrors, and one hand reverse( the one time when i actually looked over a shoulder) and this was absolutely okay, not a mistake here. Because exams here are to test your skills in a real life driving situation. And almost no one actually does all that ridiculous checkings as in UK exams. 🤣

The first time i went, the examiner was a grumpy pregnant women that wasnt polite, therefore making me more nervous and i made little mistakes. The second time i got an older lady who was extremely polite so i wasnt nervous at all.

Just passed my test after the 2nd attempt, you were very lucky to have such a nice tester, both my testers were very strict, only passed the 2nd time because I drove very well, shows the mood of the tester can have a big influence on the outcome of the test, not saying you didn't deserve to pass, you drove very well here 👍

You call that engaging? I actually talked about movies and food with my examiner i passed with. I failed with the silent ones, passed with the talkative one. It helps reduce the nerves and it feels like a normal driving lesson and so you are less tense, and it's just like any other drive.

If you're about to take your test dont take this example in the video as a standard to achieve. This driver was clearly very good, you dont need to be this good, the instructors expect you to be a novice, espeically when it comes to speed of doing things and clutch control. Ofcourse you should be as good as you can be. But dont get overly nervous if you're not as good as the person in the video.

Dude, novice level is not enough here in Norway. In order to pass the test you need to be pretty much flawless in your driving. Always stay exactly on the speed limit, and no mentionable mistakes. It also lasts for 1 fucking hour and your examiner is a complete dick 8/10 times. That's why i consider to find a way around this stupid system

I did my test in my own car, an astra estate, and the guy I bought it off had a bit of a prang in it so the driver's door has this huge dent in it... So when I was walking out to the car at the beginning of the test I said to the examiner "I just want to be clear, *pointed to the dent* that was NOT me" :') Thankfully she found it amusing!

I have driven for 58 years without having an accident that was my fault. I have driven double deckers, artic's and six wheelers. I never had a driving lesson and passed my test on the second attempt. I am now an advanced driver and still take pride in my driving. What frightens me is the know it all young drivers who are now using our roads. I often wonder how they got through their tests.

you can ask the examiner as many questions as you want haha, they cant tell you HOW to do something but you can ask them to repeat themselves, where to go, if youve reversed far enough etc.

REALLY bad anxiety, 35 years old, about 8-10 months of lessons. Past theory first time and about 3 weeks ago passed my test first time. Had a really nice examiner from Blyth (Northumberland) test center. Best advice I can give is, revise. Revise Revise Revise. For both your theory test and final test. As for nerves, if you fail, you can do it again. Just go for it and good luck. Thanks for the video, Seb. And belated grats for passing your test :)
