I failed in the first attempt because I was reading many books, I was all over so the second attempt I took 4 months to study using "Corectec" and passed the test, what was my method: - Print all the lessons (1-15) - Print the ARRT guidelines (As of April 2022 they match each one to the other, ex: lesson 1 patient care match the ARRT guidelines) - As you finish lesson 1 in Corectec, do the test (if you get 80 the next time try to get a higher score and so on) - Start studying the weakest areas, for example mine was "Procedures" and that's why I failed, it covers most of the questions in the ARRT Test, the topics you know the MOST don't pay too much attention -Get a notebook, and write down things that may be hard for you to understand and do pnemmonics so you get it, for example: the blood flow through the heart (TRY IT BEFORE YOU BUY IT) tricuspid goes before bicuspid - watch ( Meghan Piettri YT channel) she has helped a lot of people including me with all kind of information related to anatomy, position, ARRT guidelines, pnemmonics, etc Corectec is a website that you have to pay I think is a 6 month or 1 year subscription

I failed my first attempt on the exam yesterday! I was so close only three points left! I used ASRT Rad Review and Kettering Seminar book. I used the yellow book but I didn’t finish it. I was so overwhelmed with all the resources

Hi sorry to hear about that but you will be ok trust me I’ve been there and I know exactly how you feel. Stay motivated & you will get a letter in about 2 weeks and that will tell you how you scored on all the sections. Once you get that it will tell you what you need to sharpen up on. Joel Welcome my brotha Man honestly ARRT gives you 3 months after you reapply again. So I took the whole 3 months and just did flash cards and that yellow lang. Also you know more than you think so don’t second guess yourself have confidence, manifest that you have already passed the exam and it will come true. Speak it everyday say “I am a certified tech & I will pass the exam” say that daily multiple times a day while studying and I promise you WILL PASS…🙏🏽💪🏽💯☢️

My friend let me ask you one more question. In school they recommend radreview is the same as the book you tell me . Did you used radreview when you were studying for the board . In school the teacher recommend too Rad Tech Book camp At the time I'm using both Which source you think you recommend is more effective to study for board will help me more . Because on the yellow book I have heard some answers are wrong . Which one you recommended the best ? One again thank you for helping

Not sure about anything else to study. I studied the Yellow Lang book & I passed 🤷🏽‍♂️ I’m sure those other study guides are great but I didn’t use them. Maybe use all the study material & take notes on all. Good luck 🍀

Honestly the LANGE RADIOLOGY REVIEW BOOK I’m not sure what edition they are on now but I would get that book and study it front to back!

I'm weak at everything lol im not a school person And i heard RadTechBootCamp is the KEY to passing the ARRT 95% of student pass it cuz of that so I'm using RTBC, Corectec, Lange book AND lange flash cards and if i don't feel ready i will push my date further cuz i haven't took any exams yet

No it’s not easy but stick to 1 study material because it will confuse you. I personally used the Yellow Lange book and new it from front to back & I passed. Yes, there is, actually. Tell him to look up Weber State University online radiologic science degrees. Have him contact the person of contact (POC) for the program. If he receives a degree in radiography/radiologic sciences, that should re-open his 3-year ARRT testing window, and he should be able to have an additional 3 attempts. It's like starting fresh or starting over. Let me know if you have any questions.

Hi Magda I made a video not sure if you watched it but if you fail the ARRT 3x you must go back to school and redo the program. If this is his true passion and he went to a state college tell him to go back to the same college but NEVER EVER go to an on-line or PRIVATE College way to expensive and not worth it! Trust me! Wish you guys the best 🙏🏽

@JuanMotiv8s Were you responding to me? If so, I believe you may be misinformed. Weber State University is not a private university; it is a public university. For their associates in Radiologic Sciences for a student that completed a previous radiography program, I believe you would only need to take 5 courses to be awarded the degree, which will then re-open your ARRT testing window. I've been a military rad tech for 4 years, and rad tech military members only needed to take the 5 courses at WSU for the associates degree. This program/university (WSU) is absolutely worth it if you would like another chance to re-open your testing window.

My friend got back news . I went recently to take my board I study that book Lange volume 12 from to back . Didn’t help me at all . Note the questions from the Board doest look close or similar to the questions from that book at all . Book didn’t help me at all .

Fernando I’m honestly sorry to hear that. When I was going to school that’s what I used & I passed. So let me look up some study 📚 information & I’ll get back to you. Meanwhile it’s ok don’t worry I failed Radiology twice & CT it took me 3x times to pass it. Stay positive 🙏🏽

There are a lot flouroscopy and digital they ask . A lot . Some others here and there medical terminology questions. Test is not that easy . I’m planning to prepare my self again for a couple months and go at it again . If you find something please let me know. Thank you

In Radiology. After your program is complete then you sit for the national registery (ARRT) after you pass that then your eligible to work as a Certified Radiology Technologist! ☢️ Hope this helped 🙏🏽
