Thanks for the helpful video. I’ll be using this technique for a rental. Also, you should wear ear pro. Your eardrums don’t like that high frequency noise from the saws. It’ll save you from wearing hearing aids in your old age. Cheers!

A respirator is a good idea, too. Sinuses and lungs can get messed up by wood and plywood adhesive micro-particles. It's even a carcinogen in large amounts, but also causes sinusitis and breathing issues, so a comfortable respirator is a good investment if you want to avoid doctors later.

If the floor is that weak to begin with. Then for safety's sake they need to overlay with 1/2 plywood or remove all of the particle board and put down new 3/4 plywood. I feel like you are putting a bandaid on a bullet wound. But thats my opinion. . But overall you did do a nice job

jerry laport I agree, however they put particleboard in every single mobile home up until the early 90s, so unfortunately people won’t pay to have that stuff ripped out, it was just a bad design all the way around

Thank you Southern Boys! Great tip. Gotta patch up a floor that was destroyed by the plumbers and the floor joists are 16" "I" joists. What do you recommend for an "I" joist since there isn't much to nail to in the webbing.
