I've been debating getting a p's for a long time now. After seeing all these downloads and whatnot that are possible and extend the fun of the p's, I caved in and got one along with an irda phone that will come preloaded with all current content for it. I'm really excited :D

basically you plug it into your computer. then point your tamagotchi to it at close range. wait for the connection sound, double click the IR FTP icon on the desktop, browse and select image you want to download. Wait for the diconnect sound, connect tamagotchi again and when you hear the connect sound quickly hit ok or press enter to send the download. It requires some practive for a successful download. search you tube for 'tamagotchi irda' and you'll find some example vids.

I actually remember seeing 2 P's a couple of weeks ago for about 35€ (I don't exactly remember) used, one with the Royal and one with the Love and Melody, sadly I got my money recently and I lost the chance to get them, but still, I bought one in 2014 for much cheaper, I think the patch did make the P's more expensive and some people are even selling already patched P's, it's sad that they're so goddamn expensive but still, they're still cheaper than an English iD L and what you did with the patch was awesome, the P's is still the best version to this day so I get why they sell so much, but I still need to complete the pierce collection, such a shame that some pierces got so freaking expensive as well

Hello! I bought a p's with three patches and I'm trying to do the fourth. I have the f1 so I'm trying to download the 004 f1 one. I have it on my phone and when I go to send it nothing happens. I chose the download option on the p's (third). Anything I might be doing wrong? I'm using a Palm treo 700w and it works with my idl

Hello! I tried to transfer the VDC (unzipped, file by file), but when connecting to tamagotchi gives me failed tranfer :( same happens with the patch. Not likely at the moment. The tamagotchi mix versions do not support downloads from regular IrDA devices. I need to change this first.

To check if all 4 patches are installed: Go to the park. When the speech bubbles are English then EP004 is installed. Go to tamadepa or tamamori. when the built in items are english then EP003 is installed. Go to the hearth icon and select download. If the connect messages are English then EP002 is installed. When the menu items are English EP001 is installed. If not all patches are installed. Go to the website, read the info and download the patches.

You need to download the .zip files and extract the .jpg using a computer. After that you can transfer them over bluetooth or a data cable. If you have an MMC card you can also put the files on that and insert the MMC/SD card in your Nokia if it supports MMC/SD

that link doesn't work for me. It's normal it will disconnect fast (3 seconds) what you need to do is: Make a connection and quickly click the Infrared icon on the desktop so you can browse to the download you want to transfer and select it. BUT don't ckick ok or hit enter. Wait for the connnection is lost and the icon in the taskbar is gone too. Connect the tamagotchi again and as soon as you see icon/get a notification, click the OK button or hit enter key to transfer the download.

Yes you need a sim card to start up the phone.But it doesn't need to be an active sim. You can use one that is expired too. Note that some phones are carrier locked. In that case the sim needs to be from a certain carrier

Ashley Inked You may have to do a full reset. Also, the deco pierces are not affected by this patch, so it is recommended to use Virtual Deco Pierces (VDP+) instead of physical ones. I'm pretty sure deco pierces are patchable (though I'm not sure if there's a patching guide for those), but I think it's better to go with the software solution.

No, but it is prefered. You can use any device that can transfer files over infrared (IrDA) You can use a USB dongle, old laptop, or PDA too. but are less friendly in use. Note that you can not use phones or USB devices with just a infrared remote control function.

I used a nokia 6230i. I recommend using one of these older nokia's with IrDA and bluetooth. Nowadays I use a Japanese Sharp Aquos smartphone as it's got both IrDA for the P's and NFC for the 4U.
