this is really adorable, I remember having a nano pet in the 90s when I was 10 or so years old. I recently bought a white 4u after watching your videos! I find little games like these therapeutic.

I wish when they released new tamagotchis they would also release an identical English version. Also I think tamagotchi's next big step should be Bluetooth for all smartphone users. I wish tamagotchi was more popular in America because if it was we would probably see a lot better products in America which could boost the popularity even more. One last thing I wish is that the tamas were a little bit more gender neutral (mostly the American tamas) I would love to buy some of the American ones but I feel embarrassed by having one. (P.S. I would buy the Japanese tamas but it drives me insane when I don't know what's happening because it's in a language I don't understand)

I musta watched this video a hundred times by now, cause I'm soo excited about finally getting my very own Tama 4u!! It will be arriving in a few weeks time... A blue one with the same face plate as this :D I actually really like the fact that they simplified this one, I've now owned a plus colour and an IDL, but I think this modle will be my new favourite! I have 15+ scratches on my tamagotchis screen, from experience does the displex work? Edit: Displex is supposed to be a gel polish that’s supposed to take away scratches from screens.

The sun and ice-berg and etcetera are holiday decorations to celebrate the new Year! They do go away on their own after a few days, as I'm sure you know by now. There are many different decorations for different holidays, as well as when it's your birthday!

+AgataBr22 The P's have more built-in items where the 4U relies on the touch cards and the app, The 4U is much easier to care for but i'd suggest you get the P's! Their really fun and you don't need to get additional pierces to play it.

maybe you can help me with your knowledge of Tamas lol. so I got my tamagotchi 4u in the mail yesterday and once I got into it I've noticed that the sound was really quiet then my others, this is the 1st Japanese one I have owned. I have a music star and tama-go and it seems like they are much louder music star is the loudest. my guess is since the newer ones take bigger batterys it might make the sound more quiet. did I buy one that the sound is going out? I've tried researching the problem and I really can't find anything??did I buy a defective one

Your video is so helpful! I also wondered, I purchased a tamagotchi 4U on eBay and the seller has already English patched it. I don’t have a compatible device for patching or adding features so I was considering buying a touch card on ebay as well. Will that work with the English patch they already did on the tamagotchi?

Hi, i don't know for how lo g THIS Comment has been here but still, you can't change THE language of a tamagotchi 4u, idl nor any other but the P's you can change It by going to Tamazone (webpage) And going to Mr.Blinki's patch es AND downloading them into a phone with infrared (old Nokia cellphones are better for this) then you just pass the patch from the phone to the P's vía infrared. *search in youtube for how to change tamagotchi P's to english* then YOU'll see a feo descriptiva videos AND Mr.Blini's KZbin Channel :)

If it is using NFC it should work, as long as the app is available for the version of the Android OS that is running on the phone.

I've found the white 4u for $28 on amazon. You can find the 4u's for $30 on ebay. Other tamas can be $20-$25 with shipping. It's as cheap as I can find them. :/
