How to repair textured concrete. I patched my concrete pool deck.
I hired Aarons Leak Detection and recorded the entire process. They found the leak on my pool plumbing, they fixed the leak and then did an amazing job patching the concrete deck of my pool.

He did a really clean job! The reason why you see all textured patches a little "raised" compared to the surrounding is because when you level the surface, you are leveling it with the texture, not the base. The way you can get a better job is to leave the level about a 1/16" below the texture so when you the final texture, it's truly level with the surrounding surface.

The patch looks great, but the “leak” in that straight pvc you showed isn’t a natural occurring leak. That hole is from their drill. I have photos of thousands of repairs. None of the cracks look like that. I’ve accidentally drilled into plumbing before too and that’s exactly what it looks like.

They used regular concrete, then Marcite, and for the texture he used fast drying plaster.

They used cement on the lower part and Marcite on the second layer. Then hard plaster for the texture.

I’m from Tampa and couple years ago we had Red Rhino pool leak detection and they left 3 patches looking like garbage plus they charge you big money

They used sand then concrete to come up to 1/2 inch below the surface. Then Marcite, and finally hard plaster to finish the texture.

Yea, I did. I rebuilt my concrete and refinished it using the same method, but I didn't record it.
