Dr. Wagner, many thanks for a very useful video. Apart from analyzing result on the path, I am interested to automate highlighting of a path and saving the image as a print file. After constructing the path, I try to highlight it using following commands: .. pth = session.paths['Path-1'] highlight(pth) but the resultant image doesnt have the highlighted path. How can I automate to highlight the path and get an image of it in my post-processing script? Many thanks in advance.

thank you Dr.-inh But im wondering what if i'm not using shell element, how can i specify the imperfection scale factor? My model is also a pipe with several layers including composite layer. Still i can define scale factor as thickness of pipe?

What is the radius to thickness ratio of your pipe?
@가사리-m8v Жыл бұрын
@hnrwagner the ratio is (thickness)/(inner radius)=15.1/47= 0.31 I think it's not a thin-walled cylinder

@@가사리-m8v if it is this thick you most likely don't need imperfections
