Our grandmothers just wore the saree because they had to didn't bother to make it look good or presentable but youths are giving new ways to stress on pleats and pallus folding etc and it really looks good

You can use a bindi or a band-aid to keep the pin from damaging the saree ;)

I don't think that giving that good looking hip plates and ensuring them with a pin, is sustainable...it is certainly going to test the saree while sitting down...wearing saree should be natural, and not artificial by using hundred pins...it is like making into ready to wear stitched saree..
