If you are only doing your own nails, friends and family you don’t need to be a licensed nail tech. If you are working at a salon or have a business at home that you charge money yes you need to be licensed, but with covid a lot of us are self taught and do it as a hobby🤷‍♀️ it’s my new hobby and love it, I’ve learned so much from Greg and other YN videos.. love them 😍

Update! My cuticle area still isn’t perfect, but, it’s SO much better, and no ledge this time! Having a wetter bead is absolutely crucial to getting it right. I just have to get the right size acrylic brush now, because my #12 and my brush that came with the crappy Kiss acrylic are a real struggle to work with.

So funny, my husbands name is also Greg!!! I have been binge watching all of your videos. I am trying to learn, learn, learn!! Everyone I run into lives my nails and wants me to do theirs but I’m still scared to do others because I’m a beginner. I don’t want people to pay me, I mess up and then they never come back or come back tripping on me. But it’s so many that ask me daily. Ugh. On a real nail make sure the product is only on the nail not touching the skin if it touches the skin it will lift so push back like he said just up to the cuticle if there's a teeny space between that is fine

I noticed when he was guiding the acrylic around the edges and up by the cuticle, he wasn’t wiping the brush off. I’ve seen other people wipe between guiding the acrylic. This video is an easier way to do the application process. I’m gonna have to practice this way. Thank you so much for posting this! Hopefully I can speed up the process when I do my nails! Would you guys be willing to post a video of prepping the bare nail for acrylic application? I have a hard time with that as well. I accidentally take too much off the natural nail when prepping. Thanks so much! You guys are fantastic!
