cant you just do it on the right side of the bumper so that way you dont have to cut through the bumper?

That grill actually pops off really easy from the front. Theres like 5 or 6 clips and 1 pop clip. I cut mine out to match the cutouts on the other side since my cobra CAI sits right behind the grill.

I'll have to try that on the next time I have to mess with the bumper. I just couldn't picture a way that I could do it from the outside without possibly damaging the bumper. Plus, we have the wrap so I want to be careful.

Does this work for the hatch? And if so can it be installed on the right side? My hatch has honda sensing on that side

It might. I don't believe Perrin has stated it does. What I would do is take a look at the instructions available for the kit from Perrin. Then maybe pull your bumper off and see if it appears that the other side is like the instructions with the crash beam construction. If the construction is the same as the driver's side with the mounting point, it might fit. You'll just have to do some digging first.

Si does not have anything like that for 10th generarion its pretty bare-bones which is one of the reasons i love it. Only has cruise control… thats about it.

I live in Illinois. Never put any fronts plates on my Hondas. You should be pulled over for putting a front plate on a 10th gen. Almost as bad as a front plate on an RSX Type S...

Yes, and the Perrin kit comes with the template for the Type R

All said and done, this is around a $4-5k wrap but will always depend on the shop you're dealing with. You have to pay for someone to design it, then print it, then wrap it. So it's more involved than just buying a color and wrapping the car.

You can also adjust it to cover or not cover it mine covers it about 40% but it’s bc of the way I have it set

The front bumper cover is going to be different, but I'm sure the crash and side beam construction is the same. So the part that actually bolts to the car would probably work, but you'd need to find where to drill your hole on your own. However, that's all speculation and I can't guarantee it would actually work.

let’s not drill two tiny holes on front bumper for license plate and instead drill a big ass hole in the fake grill section.

True. But that bezel piece is alot cheaper than the entire bumper cover. I would rather drill the bezel. That bezel piece is 60 bucks. The bumper cover is 500+

How is this rice? Not everyone wants to drill holes in their front bumper to mount it dead center. Which takes away from the look of the car and ruins a clean looking bumper. In case you didn't know, there are states that don't require front mount plates. When you move to a state that does require one, you obviously have to have one. This is exactly the situation I'll be in in a few months and I'd rather this mod than to drill holes in the front, center part of the bumper
