Is there any adapter for regular hatchback 2018 to install the tow hook in the same part as the type r?

Our tug shaft for the Type R will still bolt up to the standard hatchback, the bumper exit will be a bit different however.

Will this work with the 20-21 models? They have an accent piece that looks like it gets in the way of where you cut the hole for the tow hook.

It does fit, the hole will jut be cut a bit different.

\ it will fit the 2021 CTR with some slight trimming to the surrounding plastics.

We don’t have specific instructions but if you email [e-mail] we do have some photos of it installed on the facelift model for reference. It’s not too bad!

@@Raceseng Are the bolts not there for the normal hatch? I was thinking of adding this since im adding a new grill and new fog lights. Since my bumper was gunna be off , figured I'd add this. Maybe there's a product specifically for the sport?

@@privera3467 The mounting points are the same. The hole in the bumper is just a bit different. If you email support@raceseng,.com they can send you some photos on the facelift front end!

noypi rider \ There's no measurement needed. You use the fitment chart to select the tow hook shaft for your car. The Tug shaft for the Type R is 172601

There is no oem location for the front. Which is why we had to make one.

Unfortunately Honda did not include a factory screw in location on the FK8
