Loving these videos. Quick suggestion. If you let the final image run awhile longer at the end it’ll allow the viewers to see the entire image. Because you only play it for the last few seconds, KZbin’s suggested videos fill the left and right sides of the screen before the entire image can be seen.

Is it possible that we are going to see a tutorial in the future where you explain how you would photograph something flat with just one point of interest. With that i mean a necklace or a bracelet with just one interesting pendante. It's something that doesn't have a lot of depth and also is pretty macro. And thank you for the awesome content, your channel has become an addiction.
@botvidsson4 жыл бұрын
It is not so common to do that for classic product photography, sounds more like lifestyle photography. Or am I wrong?
@NoxelectronBlogspot4 жыл бұрын
@@botvidsson I don't actually know. For me it seems that most "products" take up space in a 3 directions so you have a lot of surface to play with. Like a bottle a watch or most other objects but if the object is flat like a necklace or some kind of band im having a hard time imagining how to properly light it. But can't a necklace be a "product"? Sorry if the question does not fit or is weird im nowhere near being a good photographer but i'm learning.

Hi. I really enjoy your videos. Go Coffee as well. I do have a request for a future video. You have covered several whiskey shots in the past but I have a product that I have had only results that have been not the best. The product is Beam's Eight Star Kentucky Whiskey. I need a straight on product shot the problem is that this beautiful amber liquid product has a foil completely bumper like shiny label. I have not figured a way to shot straight straight on and image the whole bottle and still get a beautiful label. The label is large and wrap around style. Any ideas for this. I have tried many types of lighting but all fail because of the label reflecting everything. I would really like the label to be white with the red Beam's Eight Star wording to pop out and look good. A matte label would be great but it isn't matte. Thank you for your ideas. JRS
@botvidsson3 жыл бұрын
You say white label, isn't it golden? Or are there more variations www.urban-drinks.de/en/beams-eight-star-blend-10l-40-vol.html If the label is glossy it can be hard to light, you can never use a small light source. One trick is to spray the bottle with matte coating spray...
@NewMoon573 жыл бұрын
@@botvidsson You are correct. The label is a semi gloss Gold Foil with red and black printing. The problem is that the foil reflects everything and still is side lighted appears as black. That is why I chose to use white reflector card light it as I wanted the foil to be visible and to block the room and everything that shows in the label otherwise. Thanks for the video send. It was nice to see that others much more talented than I have problems that can make one pull out ones hair. JRS
