I love the spontaneity of hand holding shots like this but forcing yourself to go on tripod has creative benefit's. One has to think harder about each composition. Hope you have a filter holder for that polarizer.

David, not sure exactly where you live in western TN but have you ever shot any images over at David Crockett state park. If not I highly recommend it around the last week of October. I got some really nice images of the falls there just before dark in the misty rain. I had the place all to myself. You should check it out if you have the time.

Looking for coverage of this subject - intimate landscape. Regret, disappointed. I think you need to show us sample photographs of the themes you talk about, shapes, repetitions, lines, patterns and the various forms of contrast as you talk about them so as to illustrate your points. You're assuming the role of a teacher. Having a hearing handicap I could have managed without the music. You guys making videos should think about this kind of issue.
