Those baseline settings seem quite high in terms of light. Here in Finland I can get great photos with iso800, f2.8, and shutter between 2 and 8 sec. Also using remote shutter release with bulb mode, I can really fast adapt to the chancing nature of auroras by just holding the button different amount of time

@@matiasturunen9545 yes yes! It’s all about the strength of the aurora. Because I’m typically out on “aurora watch” to see the very glimmer of a beginning aurora, the baseline is just for starters.
