Yes, more MoHo cooking Show! This was a treat to watch. Lots of people have tiny kitchens like yours, and I'm sure they would like to see how you do things like this. Can't wait for the final tasting.

Definitely like the MoHo cooking show! When I was little, we canned outside over open fires. Glad I have a big enough kitchen now, with all the necessities like running water, LOL! I don't know how we survived!

If you cut the kelp longer into pipe pieces then you can cut the pipes into pickle spears. Then you can fit way more kelp per jar. Eating fresh seaweed is one of the things I really miss about the North Olympic Peninsula. / Side note / Back in the day I used to go out and collect muscles go smelting, clamming and everything else. When I would make kelp pickles I'd go up into the clear cuts and get some army duffle bags... I load them full of slag and then I'd water bath can the kelp pickles right on the beach next to the Creek. Funny thing is for the people who understand the way the rhythm of the land works around there. You can basically follow a high tide and then a low tide and during the in between tide you just go fishing somewhere freshwater. For 6 months of the Year it's awesome Van Life. Village 900 CKMO

At first I thought it was jalapenos from the thumbnail... but Kelp! Very interesting; we have never tried it but pickled anything is usually great!

I don't like kelp when its fresh, I wonder if I would like it when it's canned and oceany? Yes, more mo'ho cooking shows. We have a RV, and I don't like cooking inside it mainly because I don't like the cleanup phase, therefore almost all cooking is on the BBQ or the fire. Seafood in a foil pouch with some veggies chucked on the indirect heat in the BBQ or in the fire, lots of ideas. Looking forward to seeing yours.

Awesome. Now I'm gonna make some regular old pickles but spice em up. The kelp almost looked like jalapeños. If I could make a request how about an in depth look into crabbing as well. Looking forward to your other video on the ruins. Gotta go crack a cold one.

Love the cooking stuff Wonder if you could do actual canning on the road, like, if that would cut down on food costs and save some space?

Great new style of vids keep them coming. Would be cool to incorporate a plant species education about edible plants and poisonous you come across on your travels. What do I know other than I am high as F$&@. 🍻 man honestly though amassing vids both quality and content is unreal.

Thank you for the kelp video! I skin the kelp before slicing, which makes it tender and less strong tasting. I like your way of preparing the jars, rather than processing them with a full water bath. How long do you leave the jars in the boiling water?

I'm really enjoying everything you're putting out man, are you still on the island? I'm assuming so if you're pickling kelp, anyway I might totally go do that, never tried kelp but I love just about anything pickled so I'm definitely going to try that and they almost look like jalapenos so add some extra spice and I'm totally going to try that. Thanks man keep it up👍👍👍

@@sharong8511 that's awesome! I tried it first out of necessity to save water and really liked it. Only thing I'd worry about is pollution or algae.

@@sharong8511 My Aunt & Uncle taught me how to crab for Dungeness & Red Rock and they'd always bring a bucket of saltwater home to boil the crabs so that's what I still do. I also just eat crab plain. No need to ruin the natural flavor with seasoning/butter etc.

lol , who REALLY waits 6 weeks? Also you can cut those long way like cukes so that they can be packed into pints like you would dill spears. McCormick pickling spice is my favorite, but i've had crazy success with using oddball items like balsamic vinegar and a refrigerator pickle recipe ( those were EPIC). 1 t ip tho, use a touch of sugar * tiny amount to cut the acid, the kelp is already salty. Also makes excellent salsa!
