I don't care what they are doing, it could be decorating a cake, but watching a master craftsman work is amazing. I can't comprehend how he's laying down perfectly matching stripes, with nothing but hand eye coordination, fascinating to see.

I absolutely love how many left handers Eastwood has. it's always been super hard throughout my life to follow instructions from right handed people. Thank you Eastwood for thinking about us south paws!

👍👍Finally another great striper that finger works the brush as I always have . Yes it’s messy but you have twice as much control on the flow . Working the brush wrings out the excess at the tip and brings a fresh load from the heal to the tip where it’s needed. This saves time by not having to constantly pallet loading the brush and gives the feel of the paint consistency way better than the no touch pallet only method! . I learned this messy trick by watching the great Dick Crawford “ the thin man” in Covina Calif. stripe in the early 70’s while I was still struggling with brush paint flow control. I have striped this way ever since. There have always been hand sealers like glove coat , invisible glove , etc. I have used these for years and make hands rinse clean easily when finished.

Hello Eastwood just like to mention I’ve been cruising through KZbin watching stripers they’re good they have their own style that being said to the new stripers I’ve mentioned to them male and female I thank them for their interest in vintage style pinstriping hoping they would teach others this vintage talent for all you Watchers get into this you’ll love it plus cash in your pocket.🕶

2023: sorry that video series never got made (that I can find) - but grateful for these videos - very informative and inspiring.
In this upcoming school year I'm going to be a Junior in high school and I'm going to be taking an auto collision course at my local community college. Plus, I'm actually trying to find a place in Califorina that teach airbrushing and pinstriping, but I couldn't find a place yet. It's something I'd like to do when I graduate high school because I like to draw. I also know what paint job I'm going to do for my 1978 Dodge Tradesman 200 as soon as I get the van, a job to pay for the equipment and my license. I'm going to paint it matte black first before I do the flame paint job I'm going to give it.

What should I use to wipe off the one shot paint with on my gas tank I am pin striping if I make a mistake? I used turpenoid a turp substitute and it softened up the clear coat underneath. The clear coat had dried for 48 hours already, and seemed to be plenty dry. Scared to death lol. Practicing on the back of the tank before going on to the front. Thanks for the great videos

Great video set. Wish I had a steadier hand for this. I do however want to lay down a 3/16" pinstripe to divide a two tone paint job I did on my son's El Camino. I was wondering if I could use a 3/16" stencil and air brush the 1 Shot paint on?
