Hey mate what a legend you are !!! I am starting out and am just wondering if scrollers are the way to go initially, and also is it true that you don't twist a scroller brush on curves like you do with normal pinstriping brushes ??

No twisting involved with a scroller. It's round like a ball point pen. You have to stay in the very top exactly like a pen. A regular sword is Pinstriping with the edge and moving around like a boat rutter.

Absolutely. There's actually tape made specifically for this called "Finesse" tape. It is a wide tape that has strips that can be pulled out of the middle (like six 1/8 inch strips) so you can just fill in the gaps and remove the tape after

What's the type of material you're painting on. And did you flake paint that material yourself?

Ian Garcia I don't Paint that background panel. I actually came across many many many of these for cheap. I think they were used to transfer onto license plates for graphics... Or something like that. But now I just use them for these videos.

Smoothie -- but that is to be avoided if possible.

That is like fighting fire with fire. Add silicone to rid of silicone effects. I have never needed it so far. Prep with grease and wax remover , then stripe.

1-Shot slinger I think you may be thinking of Penotrol. I've never used smoothie. I have used 1shots own smooth stroke medium though. It's more a flow enhancer. As was penatrol back in the day. Also to note. 1shot is a oil based paint. Fish eye would be a surface contaminant if even you would suffer such. Using either would not give issues unless you wanted to clear coat the panel... Then still 1shot can be cleared with success.
