I got a TV show idea. It's called High School Buddies. It's about three kids (age 15) named, Jackie, Garret, and Don going through wacky hijinks in their town of Gilbert. They also work a part time job at Gilligan's Grub, a burger joint. Jackie is the blonde tomboy who's a hot headed (she's still nice to Don and Garret), overly cocky schemer. Garret is the simple minded, strong one and Don is shy, cautious and logical figure of the group.

What should happen is make a new network for Cartoons that runs on KZbin & Streaming Services I really want to make a new Network that supports new ideas/ creativity for Kids to Teens to Adult Cartoons to it's core for 100's of years (with Kids Cartoons, Teen Cartoons, & Adult Cartoons all getting their own divisions)

I have always loved cartoon networks, and even loved the idea of working with you all even more, but the thing i wanted to ask from what age is it possible to work, what kind of education do i need, is there a difference if i have a higher education, how do i contact cartoon networks and do i have to work alone or if i do or do i have a team to help me with? Hello Mimiart! I'm obviously not one of the people in the video, but I know the answers to your questions. 1: In order to work for Cartoon Network, you have to be atleast 18 years old (from what I know). However, most (if not all) cartoon creators have years of working in the animation industry beforehand (for example, some were animators or story borders for other shows). Most animation networks look for this kind of experience, because it shows that you have an understanding of how the industry works. 2: You don't need a higher education, but should get one. I recommend getting a degree in animation or fine arts--not in writing. 3: This is probably the most unclear part of the journey--contacting. I don't exactly know how you can do this, other than networking. So I would go to all of the animation networking events available, enter animation festivals, and watch panels at conventions--in hopes of meeting a scout or someone who knows a guy/is the guy. 4: Creating a show takes a lot of work, so you won't be working alone. There will be animators and writers helping you bring your idea to life. I hope this helps! Have a great day.

Like is it all about 'the people you know?' Do you have to pitch a meeting? How do you contact them in order to make that happen? I'm genuinely confused.

you need to pitch your idea to licensed literary agents, producers, or entertainment executives who already have a relationship with the organisation, unfortuanly.

This is all great and nicely explained but when you try to find e-mail address or submission page there is not any. They mentioned in this talk that they receive hundreds of pitches per year. How? How can you contact Cartoon network? Where is the e-mail or contact page? If you try to find it even through the LinkeIn you can't. All of this development executives are hiding their contacts. So, what is the purpose of this talk named "How to pitch a show to Cartoon network" if there is no way to really contact them?

Make some cartoons shorts and post them on KZbin. Submit to animation film festivals. From what I’ve researched over the past year, it seems that may be the best route. I believe you must prove that you have something that people will want to watch.

You can even submit shorts to different live action film festivals as well. I feel we are getting to the point where you can make your own stuff and not rely on big companies anymore for “gatekeeping”!
