Google ads does not let create the ads this the message under placements: Select your placement targeting Please add more KZbin channels. Based on your network settings, your ads may not show on all of your selected placements. To include all your placements, select "Video partners on the Display Network" My question is. How many placements should I add before it let me create the ads?

Do the competitor see when you advertise on their channel? And how does it look like if i advertise in competitors channel? If i advertise in certain video, then I understand that my video appears before theirs, but if I advertise on channel, then how does it appear?

It depends on how much investigation they do but they can see you are advertising in their AdSense account

You might need to open it up to additional channels to access more inventory. I’d also take a look at your quality score in the overall competition of advertisers trying to get ads on those placements.

Do advertisers bid on channels? If several companies pay to appear on a channel, does KZbin make their ads visible based on how much they paid?

You can select a full YT channel as a placement!

@@ScottRedgate You don't get my question. Let's say I select your channel as where I want my ads to appear, several other companies select your channel too. If your channel is popular like Mr Beast's channel, it means maybe thousands of different companies may also select it as their target channel. How will KZbin decide when to show each 1,000+ different ads on that same channel? So if a small company like mine selects that channel, and a big company like Samsung also selects same channel, surely my pocket is smaller than their budget. Will I get equal amount of ads viability as Samsung on that same channel, or will they get more visibility cause they paid more? That's my question.

Thanks for this video! I started a rather niche Podcast and wanted to grow it but, since it is not a money-making deal, I want to be wise about where I spend my own money. I think people will enjoy and benefit from the podcast but, we are not looking to charge anything. So, being able to target the audience that I believe will be most likely interested in our podcast by being able to advertise on similar channels and videos sound like the smart way to go. This doesn't seem to work anymore if you're just trying to target a single channel or KZbin video, I get the following message when following your steps to the letter: "You need more placements for your ads to show on. Add more channels and videos or remove the ones that you have already added."

Potentially...the owner of those 2 videos has not enabled KZbin monetization so you couldn't target them exclusively.

Hey Scott! Thanks for this - I'm doing this strategy but I'm running into an issue where I'm not getting many views. I gathered a list of 1,700 videos to run two different video ads on, and only the same like 8 videos are getting views, and it's only a few views per video. I set my daily budget to $10. Any tips? Not sure what's going on - I used this strategy without issue last year, many times.

Hi! You don't have to be a part of the partner program to run ads. Take a look at some of the other comments - it went away for conversion based campaigns but is still alive and well!

Okay I'm confused. You say it's not available anymore, but then mention it actually is... So what is the set of steps to achieve this if it is still possible? @@ScottRedgate No it's not, at 1:47 Custom Video Campaign is not available. The options are Video Views Efficient Reach Target Frequency Non Skippable Reach Drive Conversions Ad Sequence Audio Also, you cannot target only one channel, you will be prompted to add more channels.
