Usually braids can hold this bead pretty well, but you can easily add some extra security by using a transparent rubber band. Just place the snake's tail under one of the loops of the rubber band and it should stay :)

Hi there! I'm the designer and the artisan. I had to think about this question, as I'm not sure if I understood it through... So I hope I can answer you more or less correctly! Well it doesn't come from any culture in particular, but rather it's inspired by the symbolism present in many cultures and religious/spiritual practices - if you meant the serpent. The object itself is a hair accessory (a jewel mostly for braids and dreadlocks) originally created in 2015, by a naturalized Finnish citizen from Brazil - descendant of African, native South American and European folks - if you meant my current culture or inherited set of chromosomes ☺️

I think it's called "rope braid"? It's pretty much the same technique as when making a rope.

Thanks for asking! I found it from KZbin's royalty free music library and it's called "Folk Round" by Kevin Macleod. I just included that in the video's description.
