Thank you for the inspiration. I have all these ideas but I'm so scared to actually write. You absolutely sparked the fun of writing in me :)

Don't be afraid to write, it's so rewarding in the long run 😊☺️ if you're afraid it'll turn out "bad", there is no such thing. You can edit and revise afterwards as many times as you'd like

I’m so torn between “if you don’t start a new book it doesn’t count” and “maybe i should work on the literal 85 books i’m writing, 52 of which are being published next year for nanowrimo”. but… the point is to start a new project. we shall see. we love and appreciate you so much bestie, thank you for this
@ananeu2 жыл бұрын
aw i did want to preface that - ofc! - its okay if you just work on your projects, or even start something new like a poetry collection - just as long as you have a goal its something to work towards in november! i really wish you luck. but - woah! 85 books?!?!? thats insane! your amazing haha

"I'm a pantser" she says as she makes templates and creates videos for us on plotting, planning, and preping for Nanowrimo 😜🥰 dare I say it, Ana, I think you're at least a plantser 😉 I'm looking forward to the Nano vlogs and good luck on your project! You're definitely way ahead of me; I'm going to have to use that character template to flesh out everyone for my Nano project

THANKS SO MUCH FOR THE REMINDER THAT NOVEMBER IS LITERALLY NEXT MONTH!!! i have to start thinking about projects... I'm unsure as of right now if I can even participate this year, because my inspirations just aren't there and I've so far been under a lot of stress with school work. But, we'll see.

I just have to say, I feel like I was meant to find you. I'm about to get real sappy here so buckle up buttercup because YOU ARE A FREAKING GODDESS AND AN INSPIRATION. I just quit my soul-sucking toxic af job two weeks ago after putting it off for months and letting it drastically affect my mental and physical health. In the week I was unemployed before finding a new job, I decided to write a novel on a whim. It's a fantastic plot I came up with, and I think it has real potential. It's historical fiction so it will take so long but I'm confident I can take the work I'm doing to heal not only from the job, but from my life in general and stick to it and find a way to rekindle my writing passion into some money. Maybe full time, maybe not, I still want to enjoy it. I came to youtube and searched "write a novel with me" and your video was the first to come up. I was so inspired and it kicked off my ideas and it's so messy but I started and I'm proud. I have a long way to go, which is why I'm so glad I coincidentally found out about NaNoWriMo, because two of the biggest things I've been struggling with in life lately are sticking to hobbies/passions and making friends. This kills two birds with one stone, and I'm so excited. I just wanted to say thank you for truly inspiring this almost-30-year-old. You are wonderful!

So happy theres someone else doing it, Its my first Nanowrimo and I thought it was a good idea to prep. I honestly thought I was supposed to do plotting and character design during Nano but now I realize that is EXTREMELY unrealistic 😭 I just have a question, I was wondering were I should post my novel when im done with it? My mother suggested Amazon (im 14) but I thought Wattpad might be more my target audience, I mean most teenagers don’t buy books on Amazon and I doubt an adult would be interested in my novel. My novel is kinda enemines to friends to lovers, set in medieval times, the main character is a goody goofy by the book girl and her love interest is a witch who’s race was mass murdered by human kind and is guarded because of trauma. (Its not the most coherent plot because Im still plotting-) What do you think? This is my first novel and I think posting it on Wattpad would be a little easier to get me going as a writer. Im not really looking for profit and I would feel bad if someone bought my book and didn’t like it. And audience is a big thing for me because this is a teen romance queer novel. I believe that id get more reach there because I know some teenagers might not be allowed to read queer media and they could read it online instead of a physical book. Il But, if I post it on Wattpad I was concerned if further down the line I would have trouble publishing because of copyright (Although the writer of After got their Harry Styles fanfic into a whole movie franchise) I don’t know, what are your thoughts? (Sorry if this is all over the place and hard to understand, its late and my brain isn’t 100%)

I would participate in NaNoWriMo but I’m just an (almost)teenager who has a bunch of schoolwork so If I do participate, it’s probably gonna be associated with warrior cats or do it for fun. there’s no way I’m actually going to be finishing a 50k word novel and 1667 words a day. I don’t even have the motivation to do so. . . nor do I know how to plot properly. The only way of getting ideas is to go with the flow, lol. But your videos help a bunch, Ana!

Lovely video, just one tiny little thing, nothing huge. NaNoWriMo stands for National NOVEL Writing Month. I noticed you put "November" instead, which I can see why people might think that as it does take place in November. Like I said, tiny thing, and an adorable woopsie on your part.
