Omg, I had a friend who lived in the old treasure island house on Harrow on the Hill & even though she only lived in a section of it, it was ginormous! I lived at the bottom of the hill with the pauper’s so being in her house made me realise the difference in our lifestyles. I remember the smell of her mums perfume & it gave me the same feeling you just described! The perfume was Chanel No.5 - I still love it & it still makes me feel put together. It makes me feel like I’m living my envisaged life (even though I’m not actually there yet). It’s nice to dream! I’ll get there! 💜
