The arm holes in sleeveless wetsuits chafe the top of my shoulders - sleeves all the way.

Sydney Marathon course is harder and more hilly. Just jog it and use it as training run/fueling practice. Melbourne Marathon course looks way nicer for PB. For BQ, I paced Women BQ 3:30 at Chicago Marathon in mid Oct, then BQ-ed myself at CIM in early Dec. Body feels fine after Chicago and mentally inspired by all the women chasing their BQ. Overall a plus plus. I was able to do track workout 2 days after.

How do we feel about a marathon 5 weeks after a 70.3? Will be my first 70.3 and first marathon.

I might try and work your long runs up to 15-16 miles in training for the 70.3. Say you take a week to recover and a week to taper, that gives you 3 weeks to add in another 4-5 miles for your longest run. Might be ambitious, though very doable with the right prep. Good luck!

Re the back to back marathons : Sydney marathon is a really hilly course compared to Melbourne which is pancake flat
