Sir, thank you for your videos, I am well convinced by them, so I am going to grow aloe vera too❤ these soft pots you’re using are surely a highlight ❤ I never seen them in the store, where can I get them😂

The pots are called polyethylene plastic pots or soft plastic pots and they are sold in stores. Check them out in the garden section of department stores or hardware stores.

Hi and thanks for the share. My barbadensis has just made up it's very first pup. What size would you recommend me to wait it reaches before separating it ?
@TheAloeVeraGarden3 ай бұрын
You can separate it anytime especially if the mother plant is crowded with pups.
@yannickcotten28543 ай бұрын
@@TheAloeVeraGarden thanks for the answer. I'm gonna wait a moment, the first pup is barely 4 or 5 cm, and a second one just 2cm. I'm gonna let them grow a little bit before repotting. The pot is far from being crowded, there's only those two tiny pups that have emerged and there's 10cm between the mother plant and the edges of the pot.

Do you think you can try to propagate aloe with the stem of the flower? Mine has never flowered so I’m not able to try it, but im curious
@TheAloeVeraGarden2 ай бұрын
I only saw Aloe vera grow pups on the flower stalk while the stalk was still attached to the mother plant and happens very rarely. I don't know if it can be propagated but it is worth a try. Thank you for suggesting.

There are different varieties of aloe vera. How do we know if any is edible ?
@TheAloeVeraGarden3 ай бұрын
There are only two varieties of Aloe vera and both are edible.

Can you show me your soil mix to your aloe Vera,😊

Most of the time, I use compost soil.

Thanks so much for these info about Aloe vera.. Inspired by your tutorials I started to plant aloe vera in pots. I also tried propagation using the cuttings and leaves and the roots. However I noticed that aloe vera seem to produce roots and are growing very slow grow.. Could it be that the temperature here in LA trinidad, Benguet which is within the range of 12-22 degrees Celsius a factor of the very slow low rate of growth of the plant?

Place your Aloe vera in full sun and no shade at all. Aloe vera grows slowly in shaded and partially shaded areas.

Danny, whats the proportion for loam soil? sand, silt, and clay😅 , by the way nice video👍🏻

I just eyeballed everything. I always add my used soil to the compost bin so that when the compost is ready, I don't have to mix anything. Just like what I did here kzbin.info/www/bejne/bKe6gHmAqc6ho9k
