My father-in-law is always telling me to plant these. Thank you for this information. How much can these improve the soil nutrient levels for poor soil?

They really don't improve the soil much. They need a lot of nutrients to reach full potential.

How affective is this Deer Detour? My brassicas get slaughtered in Southern NY. I usually make until mid-end of October and they are eaten to the ground. They do come back all winter for the bulbs.

In the tests we saw that Brad ran, it worked great on beans and brassica plantings.

I really don’t think they would do much. They are slow growing at first and also hate competition. I would use radishes instead

Sugarbeets grow mostly underground. They need to be dug up for maximum benefit.

I was planning on trying Sugar beets but using a pre-emergent like Brawl II. Would that work?

Not sure I think dual 2 magnum may be safe for beets

@Northwoods Whitetails Food Plot Seed as far as I know, brawll ll is replacing dual 2. Well, gonna give it a try and find out I guess. Thanks
