I like taper in and down so the water stays in the plant. worked well and te tree is very nice.

​@@joegardenerTVand yet there's no bubbles that come out of the bubbler. Weird. Quick question and that is re planting new trees in zone 4 (NE WI), is it best to plant in the Fall or Spring? Temps in Oct (hi/low) are 52/34 and mid May 52/40, although it snows every May we've been here. This past May it snowed 3 times. April seems to be the month for the most snow we get. Equivalent rain to melted snow isn't much really; something like 6 - 8 inches over an 8 month period, so very dry overall. Winter coldest temp is usually around Minus 30 - Polar bear weather - glad I don't see them, although I have seen a mother brown bear and her two 3/4ths grown cubs right outside town crossing the highway right in front of me. Don't want to hit them, as the vehicle usually loses. Quite a difference living here vs Dallas, TX where I was for nearly 50 years.

You basically cut a shelf. Pull soil from uphill and build up the downhill. We have a "planting with ryan" video on our channel thats on a really steep spot

How much water should you give your tree on a daily basis for the first few weeks?

Hi i hear add potting soil (w/ added fertilizer) to the base of the hole. N u did not. I live in vegas dry hot conditions in summer (sure u know) n cold temps during dec n partial jan which depends on mama earth. 35 degrees at nite )giv n take n 50s in the day. My ques is it diff on regions bcuz of soil. N why not potting soil. Hope u can consider desert southwest dry conditions Climate zone is truly 11 (9a is wintery months. Pls do a vid or ecplain. Thx😊

we use planting mix and a plant food to offer a guaranteed plant warranty

If you fill the planting hole with rich materials, the roots will not try to grow outwards in search of food.
