I live in UK and I've seen the UK "plastering" and it looks like you guys are either blindfolded or drunk when laying and entire surface. It's anything but flat. Not to mention window corners. Looks like a belly dancer. So no thanks. His method given the straightest flat walls compared to your plastering.

Если заглянцевать штукатурку, то перед нанесением шпаклёвки необходимо глянец сбить наждачкой, сеткой. Если глянцевать под оклейку обоями, то необходимо всё зделать идеально. Удалив при этом маяки. Не вижу смысла гляцевания, как по мне проше шпаклянуть
