@@troweltalk2719 someone passed on to me a small window cleaning round, so I'm building that up. Far less stressful, easier on the body and just as much earnings. Only problem is your tied down with the weather but it's manageable.

Stu, isn't bending down bad for your back? "Bend your knees, not your back" - I just squat down.
@troweltalk27192 жыл бұрын
It would be if lifting something heavy off the ground yes. that's where you should bend your knees. all this is using you leg muscles & core to extend your reach . I've not got a bad back or bad knees

This is very informative and interesting. I see that in a lot of these videos that the floorboards are already laid when the plastering is done. Is it ever the case that the plastering on a new build would be done before the floors were laid? I live in a house with a suspended wooden floor sitting on wooden joists with no subfloor. I am trying to think of when this house was built, which was around 1980, if it was that the plastering was done first and then the joists and floor put down or vice versa.

Hi, Typically The floors will go down then the plastering. (Plaster should be kept slightly off the floor)
@CriticalDispatches Жыл бұрын
@@troweltalk2719 Thank you for your response. That's interesting. In my research some people said that the plastering would go first as it is a wet job and the moisture could warp the floor.

I'm 39 plasterer for 20 years ,I've had bad knees for years ,so hardly ever bend my knees ,I can literally lay both hands flat on the floor without bending my knees ,unfortunately my knees are still fucked but probably could be worse
