Just use plasterboard expanding foam to stick that loose corner of plasterboard . It will be solid ..but temp screw a batten on the floor to hold it in place whilst the foam dries.

I noted your did not leave a gap between the plasterboard and the floor if water or dampness gets on the floor it can seep up the plasterboard if I was you I would cut about 12mm off the bottom of the plasterboard

Thing is in a new build they but up for air tightness so the leaving gap has gone out the window 😂

Nice. Just be mindful of them cable zones and keep them straight. If anything it will help you when you screw into the wall. If it’s straight down from the light switch you know where that cable is. Currently it looks all over the place.

Yeah I kept the zones in mind before I closed up the walls fully, and do still have access from the hallway side if I really meed. Good shout!

Amazing timing i’m doing the same, couple of questions What are the pros and cons of removing the lime paster ceiling (leave laths) - is it best to remove the plaster? Can you board over it all? With lime mortar bricks is it ok to use tile backer board? Will it trap moisture? Brilliant channel thank you

There isn't a huge amount of benefit to removing the old lathe and plaster off the ceiling...in my case I wasn't going too, until a massive slab of it fell off! Lime mortar is incredibly flexible, so there isn't any problem with sticking tile backer board over the top of it, aside from the fact that if it's really old, it's more likely to fail sooner, so the tiles and backer board aren't as secure...hope that helps, and good luck!
