How to plastidip wheels with graphite metalizer

In this video i will be showing you how to plastidip your wheels using a black base coat, with the graphite metalizer along with some glossifier.

Seems like it wouldv'e been easier to just take the wheels off than do all that masking. Plus to could elevate them so you can be more comfortable painting them. But they turned out real nice. Might be doing my truck wheels like that, Thanx.

Graphite metallizer has a pearl finish and it’s not too shiny. Glossifier is basically clear coat gives it good shine and protection

just tint the tails! Don't dip them

Yea, if you're going to tint them, use VHT nyteshades. But beware, it may not be legal in your state and you may not pass inspection as well. Check the laws in your state

Did the color fade and look like crap after a few weeks/months or was it ok? Thinking of doing this to my car. Not sure if its worth it, as I've seen a lot of plasti dipped cars looking flat and boring with the "fade".

yes unfortunately it faded after few weeks and started becoming more dull. I think the brake dust has a lot to do with it tbh.
