2 scout start 6 vil berries (2/2/2 bushes/bushes/mill) 1 vil food (split between bushes) 1 vil house>HoW>gold 1 vil mine>gold 2 vil gold (4 on gold total) Next 5 vil straggler tree till 50 wood, then lumber camp>wood Age up ~2:40 3 food vils to wood (8 wood total) Wheelbarrow ASAP (before second house) Transfer gold workers to stone at 275gold (wheelbarrow+fresh foodstuff) 5 vils to stone (first builds house on the way) Fresh Foodstuffs right at age up, gold vils to stone (unless v french, then get 75 more gold for phalanx) (9 on stone total) 2nd TC then Production buildings unless vs french. If french, barracks then 2nd TC. At 300 stone, stone vils build 2nd TC on a food source (build mill too if on berries.) Leave one vil on stone to upgrade towers for high harass defense if you want. Build production buildings in response to opponent, produce continuously. 3 vils from wood to gold Rally both TCs to wood until 22+ vils on wood for continuous building production. *Beastyqt’s Abbasid Civ Optimized Opening for 2 Town Centers:* Side Notes: - If you are playing against Cavalry Civs like French or Rus, you have to research the Phalanx upgrade and build a Barracks then build the 2nd TC, otherwise no need to rush Phalanx and Barracks before 2nd TC. - Try to connect Productions to House of Wisdom for Influence, especially Food, Gold, and Wood at first, usually Stone is far so it will be connected with the initial houses 1. Produce an extra *Scout,* scout and collect sheep with two scouts, and keep and eye for Opponent’s moves 2. *6 initial Villagers on Perry* (keep sheep as backup if attacked) 3. Produce a *7th* Villager to *Perry* (7 on Food now) 4. Produce an *8th* Villager to *build a House* in the opposite direction of the House of Wisdom, to make an influence connection towards the future Stone Mine, then let this 8th Villager *build the HOUSE OF WISDOM.* Then will go to *Gold,* by then the 9th would have already built a Gold Mine 5. *9th* Villager *builds a Gold Mine* 6. *10th* Villager on *Gold* 7. *11th* Villager on *Gold* (4 on Gold now) 8. Keep the 4 Villagers on Gold until you *research Wheelbarrow, Fresh Foodstuffs, and Phalanx upgrades* (350 Gold total), then *move the 4 Gold Villagers to Stone* 9. *12th* Villager on a straggler tree for *Wood,* and *rally all upcoming Villagers on Wood* 10. By now you should be able to *AGE UP! With Economic Wing* 11. Then take *3 Villagers from Food to Wood* (4 on Food now) 12. *Aim for 8 Villagers max on Wood,* during that *build a Lumber Camp* (8 on wood now) 13. Then *Rally new Villagers on Stone* 14. *Build 2nd House towards Stone, then build a Stone Mine* 15. *Aim for 9 Villagers max on Stone* (9 on Stone now) 16. Then *Rally new Villagers on Food* 17. Now *keep 1 villager on Stone,* to later build a tower and the *rest of the 8 Villagers build the 2nd Town Center* on a protected *Food Source* location, like on top of Deer favorably then one shot Deer when they get close to TC with Two Villagers, or if TC was built around Perry, don’t forget to build a Mill 18. *Rally new Villagers on Wood* to build Production buildings and Army 19. Build Production Buildings and houses from now on towards the 2nd TC to connect the Influence area 20. Adjust Army production based on your opponents Army (Rock, Paper, Scissors) 21. Have at least a Camel unit in your Army to debuff opponent’s Cavalry units 22. Keep producing Army to defend or attack opponent’s economy 23. Don’t go Castle Age unless you are safe 24. If you want to Age Up, move almost all Wood Villagers to Gold, and *AGE UP! with Culture Wing* and research *Preservation Of Knowledge* 25. Research all wanted *Production upgrades* and *Army upgrades* after Preservation of Knowledge 26. Research *Veteran Horsemen* and *Veteran Archers* for initial Army Strength ... ... ... ... Ultimate Army composition: *Fully Upgraded Camel Archers* ... *DESTROY YOUR OPPONENT*

Dude, there's so many way to Cheese with the AB-Acid. Did you know you can steal villagers with the Imams with conversion, as it doesn't trigger attack alarm? This is Imperial Age though, but still cheesy when you sneak have imams hidden in a stealth forest kidnapping villagers due to their huge conversion range. If you want to do Early-Rush it is still fully viable if you opt for military wing. Giving your infantry much more HP than the opponent, were talking about Archers with +14 HP extra, Spears with +19HP. Ontop of getting instant access to siege. That can give you an absolute timing Cheese push. If you decide to wait for doing a Castle Age push, you can do that also, giving you some pretty insane MaA with +27 Extra HP! Thats a total of 182 HP! That is more HP than a Imperial Age upgraded MaA! I find Abbasid Amazingly flexible, able to cheese in many ways. I find them overlapping with Mongol-play style pretty well. Go for Camel archers do excellent econ harass early game. (just get enough to single shot kill vills) Go for Feudal Battering ram push with beefed up Spears and Archers. Ofcourse the Abbasids are definitively strongest going for the econ-game. But you can definitely surprise the enemies with some completely unexpected cheese. And when they try to counter it, your units are still stronger. I mean, BeastyQT is the top AOE4 player in the world. I am nowhere close to his ELO. But I've played Age of Empires for almost 20+ years now. I can see good opportunities when they are presented. And I've seen enough Pro-games where even the top players have manage to cheese with the abbasid. But I'm definitely able to cheese with them at a much lower ELO (No surprise) but saying that they are not the nation for you if you like to cheese is wrong. You don't get cheesier than Imam conversion. (Current state of the game, if you have 20 Imams, even 3 mangonels firing at the same time can not kill them. Their conversion range is as long as a longbowman, with 20 imams you can pretty much hijack enemie armies if you give your imams a bit of meatshield in form of MaA / Kninghts / and Xbows. Absolutely a Delhi Terror by just stealing their elephants holy hell) Also when it comes to Abbasid Boats. The early Dhows (Arrow ships) does indeed suck. with less HP and armor, and now that they can no longer fire-on-the-move their speed advantage is close to none. However the Castle age ship, (Baglah) Is amazingly good, It easily takes out Hulks if you give them the armor upgrade. But I find them extremely useful in Hybrid maps with Rivers. Their Spingrald combined with Arrow attack is really devastating against enemies armies, and pretty damn good in holding off river-crossings. So saying they suck would be wrong. They just suck at dominating the early Navy-game. But atm Navy-balance is scewered anyway. But at least the trick is to go for navy in Castle age, avoid the feudal and use the cheaper docks to set up multiple docks and spam Baglah's to take over the ocean quickly. So navy maps are definitely just fast-castle into navy is only option for abbasids.
@MafiulRobin2 жыл бұрын
As bronze 1 I've no knowledge to agree or disagree.
@Kameeho2 жыл бұрын
@@MafiulRobin then you are a wise man. Nah BeastyQT guide is still very good and gives you a solid fundation. Especially when considering competative 1v1 on micromaps. I'm just disagreeing with some statements such as Abbasids is not a nation if you want to Cheese. Or a weak naval nation. (They are infact one of the strongest, not due to cheaper dock but Baglah+Xebec makes an amazing combination and Baglah protects extremely well against demolition ships. And abbasid navy has some extra nice upgrades to them.) Other than that I dont inherently think he is wrong. Going for the standard 2 TC opening with economical wing is certainly the most efficient booming for abbasid. But in team games I actually experimenting with going for Caravan and try do a bit of a mongol silver tree style opening, consider their caravans are cheaper(50g 50w). And then make a line of towers alongs the trade route loaded with springals. For added protection with the +5 armor they become rather tanky against raids. And the added towers makes it so they have to really dedicate themselves to raiding your trade. But it really solidifies your late game econ and saves you a lot of vills. Also not having to go for a 2 TC opening.

@@Kameeho Thank you. I see your point and from what I read, I can agree with it. Abbasy is one of my favorite and it's very easy to play even for a casual player. I was having hard time aging up with Deli and his last video really helped me.
@Kameeho2 жыл бұрын
@@MafiulRobin my best tip for anyone going Abbasid. Gold and food is paramount. Get secure and good influx of gold and food. And you'll do solid. Abbasid works excellent in team games as they can play very supportivly. A few camels to your teammates armies and youll make HRE Man at Arms into Terminators And HRE spearmen will absolutely demolish knights despite enemie having archer support. Just to throw an example. Their castles are excellent foreward bases. Build 2 castles close to each other and youll stack the healing aura. Which also heals siege. So you can really hold choke points with springald and especially culverin support in lategame. And as i mention earlier. Imams are underrated. Difficult to use. But once you get hang of microing then they become can pretty much become your hard counter against anything that isnt siege.

FWIW if you split your first six vills 4 berries / 1 wood / 1 gold, then rally 8 to food, 3 to gold, build HoW with the wood chopper > gold, then rally to wood as normal after queueing the age up, you are in the same position with an age up ~ 16 seconds slower, but your vills don't need to chop stragglers, which has got to be worth the 25 food you lose by delay FFS.

damn this is particularly clean build / guide. and the "click on stone" trick is so obvious, but so fantastic. thanks!! i'm guessing that the reason why camel archers weren't mentioned until the end is just because they are so resource-intensive, and camels + infantry is better bang for your buck when eco is lower and pop cap isn't a constraint? i don't play Abassid, but play w/ a friend who plays them, and he almost always starts w/ 5 camel archers, b/c that's the number you need to one-shot a villager, and people just get fucked with it constantly because camel archers are just a total sex-haver of a unit. but i could see how that wouldn't be ideal if your enemy is making shitloads of units, trying to put pressure on. can't wait for the Chinese guide! they are kinda a pain in the ass to play in a lot of ways, but for whatever reason i am just drawn to them, and would love to learn how to handle the bullshit levels of pressure that civs like French & English can just shit out early game without a care in the world... i assume a lot of the tech & strategy is similar to Abassid, but the Chinese don't really have the same early game unit quality-- i hear people say sometimes that Zhuge Nu are good, but i can literally never get that shit to work between the extra res cost to get there in the first place (dynasty), and their fire animation being so goddamn slow (especially b/c longbows have such a range advantage too). on paper they should be good, as long as you get the +1 atk upgrade. and, yes, you can mimic the production speed boost that English gets using your IOs, but it's still just kinda hard to compete with these civs imo. if it were easier to compete, Chinese would actually be used in the same way as a Feudal all-in civ... and they're not. but once you can get to castle, things get a lottt easier because Palace Guards are absolute sex-havers in their own right.

As a bronze/silver league player I find I am about 2 mins slower than you are to getting that 2nd tc out and start producing military. I find those 2 extra mins always mean GG against any feudal age aggression. I feel like I need many hours of practice to speed up the build to a point where it's fast enough to be safe. Any tips for a slightly slower tc build that is safer from 7-9minute early aggro? I love playing abbasid in the late game, but I quit because I just cant seem to stop the fuedal age rush.

Have an extra TC Is a huge advantage, it's part of the risk of play abbasid, if they let your eco grow theyll be in a very complicated spot to fight you back
@PsYcH0xChicKeN2 жыл бұрын
I have the same problem but there is a solution that... sometimes works? You've got to go off meta though. If you assume that the enemy is going to all-in you, which most of the time as abba they will, then I've found that forgoing the second TC and aging up with the military wing instead can work well. Boot camp makes your archers and spears so much stronger that you can trade way, way better and most opponents at that level won't realise what you've done. Get to Feudal using something like what Beasty showed here but ignore stone and instead throw guys onto food and wood to get production buildings asap and pump out units. Couple on gold once your production is working to pay for blacksmith upgrades and don't even worry about a second TC until castle. Plus if you've gone horsemen in your unit comp, you'll be able to raid their eco. Against French or Mongols though you can stick with the 2TC eco build, but get barracks/range before the second TC. Less vills on stone (only 5 or 6) and only after you've boosted your food and wood vill count, because you're going to need units out asap. I can fairly consistently beat those civs at silver level that way. Earlier units to hold against the inevitable rush and then the second TC to get your eco going once that initial push has been held. It completely buckles against literally everything else though.
@emilne832 жыл бұрын
@@PsYcH0xChicKeN thanks for the ideas. That off meta play is the key I think. With Abbasid everyone expects a 2tc boom and so they will just come kill you. At least at my rank, it seems like I only ever see longbow/spear/ram rushes from the english, and I lose to that every time. I will have to give that military wing opening a try.

Hello, Ahmed! The Abbasid nation has a unique upgrade in the economic wing of House at Wisdom, that makes workers 50% cheaper. With second TC you can use this feature as a strong economic advantage under your enemy, and create a lot of cheap villagers, to create a very strong early economy. With a strong economy you can produce more military units than your enemy and take initiative in the match. That is the build :)

Why preservation of knowledge not the boot camp (10% hp on Ur infantry and archers)
@Bot-773852 жыл бұрын
Preservation of knowledge is just far more valuable in the resources it saves you. 30% cost cut on ALL research is massive, especially since it includes the House of wisdom’s own researches. You’ll be able to save huge amounts of gold, food, and wood to produce more units so that you can avoid dying. A ten percent increase on the HP of infantry only is pretty terrible, especially when the Abbasid infantry have no real unique upgrades to them like HRE or English. Archers having 10% more hp amounts to about 7-10 more health depending on age which doesn’t help much, especially when they shouldn’t be taking damage anyways. Spearmen are in the same boat, gaining 7, 9, 11, and 13 hp depending on age. Preservation of knowledge also tends to get worse the later the game goes as you already spent resources on upgrades. On the other hand, boot camp is basically the same no matter when you get it.
