Hi Shane. Really likening the choice of this song. As an older guy I sometimes get stuck on 60s and 70s stuff and ignore a lot of other good music. The takeaways for me on this tune besides it just being fun, it will be a good workout with the strumming and then the fills will strengthen the lead work that I’m trying to learn more also. Love it when you can get a loop going with all the proper timing and then just repeat, repeat, repeat until I get it right, been doing a fair amount of that with the lead stuff…that and it is just fun…once you figure out your timing on the looper that is😉 It will be one I’ll start working on as soon as we get back home to Alberta, leaving AZ in a few days. A wonky knee kept me from doing a lot of things I would normally have done down here so I’m very thankful these videos have kept me busy learning new stuff and feeling like I’m finally over that bit of a wall in my guitar playing. I hope you and yours are well. Thanks again for all your work. Wally. 😎

Thanks Shane, such a good lesson, other teachers say this is a beginners song, wrong! Feeling the accent on the off beat, your foot is coming up but your hand is going down, takes practice. My kids got it straight away, because their mother has natural rhythm. I got the natural pitch but not the rhythm. Or maybe its just that the music these days is so much off the beat. My kids always said, "just feel it dad" mmmm, I couldn't. This lesson is key. Great work Shane😊
